About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Agile Project Manager to drive delivery excellence across our Big Data and Artificial Intelligence project portfolio. As an Agile-first organisation, we recognise that different projects require different toolkits. We run full Scrum on exploratory initiatives, and apply more structured project processes to fast-paced, fixed-scope engagements. In this role, you will bridge the best of both worlds, combining Agile flexibility with traditional discipline around schedule management, risk mitigation, and client governance to deliver high-impact data solutions on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Project Delivery Excellence: Champion Agile values across diverse project types, tailoring frameworks to best fit project constraints, team capabilities, and SOW terms. End-to-End Delivery Ownership: Take full accountability for project lifecycles within Big Data and AI, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery. Pragmatic Backlog & Scope Management: Partner with product and technical leads to refine user stories, establish rock-solid acceptance criteria, and protect delivery capacity from scope creep. Remove Blockers & Foster Autonomy: Facilitate high-value, streamlined syncs to eliminate dependencies and empower engineering teams to focus on deep technical work. Stakeholder Alignment and Relationship Building: Serve as the trusted bridge between technical teams and external clients, providing transparent, value-driven progress updates and other project communication.
Requirements
Education: Relevant Bachelor’s Degree a minimum
Project Expertise: Solid foundation in traditional and/or Agile principles and frameworks Experience: Minimum 3+ years of direct experience leading technology projects Technical & Domain Depth: Fluent enough in Big Data and AI concepts to collaborate effectively with data scientists, AI engineers, and technical architects. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of translating complex technical updates into clear business value for clients.
