PromptWrx

Operations & Implementation Lead

Full-time

About PromptWrx

PromptWrx builds Reve, an AI denial-management platform for hospitals, health systems, and physician groups. Reve's agents read the denial, the medical record, the payer policy, and the contract; decide whether to correct, appeal, or write off; and draft the appeal. Revenue cycle teams recover more money, faster, with fewer people touching each claim.

The role

You own everything between a signed contract and a steady-state account. Configuration, integrations, testing, go-live, and the delivery operation that runs after it. You are PromptWrx's first dedicated operations and implementation hire, and you will build the playbook, the tooling, and eventually the team. This is a senior individual contributor, player-coach role. You run implementations yourself while you write down how they should run. If the function grows the way we expect, you grow into leading it. You work on two fronts. First, direct provider clients: hospitals and health systems going live on Reve with their own staff. Second, partners who deliver Reve to their clients under their own brand, where you stand up the integration and enable their team without their client ever knowing you were there. You also build and run delivery operations for our managed-service accounts, where PromptWrx work in Reve, submit appeals, and follow up with payers. You work alongside the leadership team and the head of customer success, who owns the client relationship, value reporting, renewal, and expansion.

Responsibilities

What you'll own

  • Direct implementations, kickoff to go-live. Scope the configuration, drive data integration, run UAT in waves, cut over, and hand a trained client to Customer Success. Target: first recovered dollars within 30 days of kickoff.
  • Integration projects. Run the technical workstream with client IT, clearinghouses, and PromptWrx engineering across SFTP, API, and FHIR R4, including Epic and Cerner. You are the project manager, not the developer: you write the spec, own the plan, and hold both sides to dates.
  • Partner implementations, behind the scenes. Stand up partners: integration plan, configuration, partner staff training, escalation. Build the enablement kit once so the third partner takes a fraction of the effort of the first.
  • Delivery operations for managed-service accounts. Design and run the operation where PromptWrx staff work placed accounts with Reve as the engine: low-dollar denials, post-payment appeals, underpayment recovery, and audit defense. Staffing model, queue design, QA sampling, turnaround and productivity standards, and the reporting a client expects.
  • Testing and validation. Own the client-facing testing: the client-agreed test set, and client-specific pre-go-live testing, written so a health system's AI governance committee signs off on it.
  • The playbook and the tooling. Implementation playbook, plan, specification, cutover checklist, go-live readiness gate, delivery SOPs. Then the ticketing and project tracking to run them, then the hires to staff them.
  • Feedback into product. Turn what breaks during implementation into specific, prioritized input for the product and engineering team.

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Healthcare software implementation, hands on. 7+ years implementing software at a vendor that sells to hospitals, health systems, or multi-site physician groups. You have personally run go-lives, not supported someone else's. This is the primary skill we are hiring for.
  • Integration project depth. You have managed integration workstreams across HL7 and FHIR, X12 837 and 835, SFTP, and at least one of Epic or Cerner. You can open an 835 and tell us why the file failed.
  • Enough revenue cycle to be dangerous. Working knowledge of CARC and RARC codes, denial workflows, appeals, timely filing, and what a denial analyst's day looks like. You do not need to have run a denials shop. You do need to know when a client is describing one wrong.
  • Operations builder. You have built or run an operations function with queues, SLAs, sampling, and staffing models, and you can stand one up here for managed-service accounts.
  • Writes documents people sign. Specs, test plans, cutover checklists, and validation documentation a health system's IT, compliance, and AI governance teams will approve.
  • Range of audience. Credible with a client IT director, an Epic analyst, a director of revenue cycle, and a partner's engineering lead, often in the same week.
  • Startup temperament. Comfortable running implementations with no playbook while writing the playbook. You do the work before you delegate it, and you are candid when a date is at risk.
  • PHI discipline. Fluent in HIPAA obligations and comfortable operating within a SOC 2 program. You must be U.S.-based; PHI does not leave the country.

Nice to have

  • Epic certification, or Cerner (Oracle Health) implementation experience
  • Clearinghouse experience (Availity, SSI, Waystar, or similar) on either side of the connection
  • RCM outsourcing or BPO operations experience: denials, A/R follow-up, or appeals production
  • You have delivered a white-label or embedded product through a channel partner
