About the role
We are looking for an exceptional Full-Stack Engineer to join our product engineering group. You will collaborate closely with Product and design teams to design and implement solutions that provide significant value to our clients. Our product includes multiple web apps, mobile apps, and integrations with various external systems. The balance between frontend and backend work in this role is flexible, and depends on your strengths and preferences.
What you'll do
- Be part of the application team, taking end-to-end responsibility for all our customer-facing applications, from the database to the UI.
- Work on our web frontend systems, written in React and TypeScript, and our backend services, built with Python, Django and Postgres.
- Develop user interfaces for interacting with complex data - 360 videos and images, 2D floor plan maps, 3D models, and large data grids.
- Design APIs that serve large amounts of data to the client in a performant way.
- Build asynchronous jobs and data pipelines, and optimize queries over large production datasets.
- Be part of a vibrant team of bright and experienced engineers working to bring the construction industry into the digital age. Requirements:
- 5+ years of engineering experience (writing code and delivering products!).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with React, building web-based products.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with server-side development in any modern stack. Strong Python experience (and Django) is an advantage.
- Working fluency with AI coding agents in your day-to-day work - hands-on use of tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex over recent months. We're looking for someone who tinkers with these tools at work and outside of it, tries new things often, and forms real opinions about what works.
- Leadership experience, whether it's leading people, projects, or technologies.
- Strong people skills.
