Hscale, a Bain Capital and Aquila Group joint venture, closed the acquisition of a second Milan hyperscale campus in late May 2026. Its own site specification lists MXP2 as a 120 MW campus of three 36 MW buildings with 180 MVA secured and a target ready-for-service date of Q3 2028, liquid-ready with a targeted PUE of 1.2. Combined MXP1 and MXP2 investment is reported at more than EUR 2bn for 250 MW. Sources disagree on the comune: trade press places both campuses at Settimo, northwest Milan, while the operator's own page lists MXP1 as west Milan and MXP2 as east Milan. Coordinates are the Milan reference point, not the plot.
