Operated by Google · Hermantown, MN, US1 srcupdated 5d ago
Google confirmed on 2026-03-03 that it is behind a proposed 1.8m sq ft campus of at least four server buildings on 200-400 acres along Morris Thomas Road in the Adolph area of Hermantown, adjacent to Minnesota Power's Arrowhead substation; Minnesota Power says it will add 300MW of wind and 400MW of storage to serve it, and the electric service agreement was before the state PUC. Coordinates are a street-level point on Morris Thomas Road in Adolph, not a parcel. Sources do not state a committed IT load or describe the workload as AI-specific.
