Global Data Infrastructure Sdn Bhd bought a 36-acre plot at the COMPASS @ Kota Seri Langat industrial park in Selangor and intends to build a facility requiring 300MVA of power load and 210MW of IT load. Seller COMPASS IP Sdn Bhd is a joint venture of PNB, KWAP and the AREA group. The sale represents full take-up of the 220-acre park; construction is to start after completion of the sale. The price was not disclosed.
