Alibaba Cloud launched two data centres in Johor forming its second public cloud region in Malaysia, taking it to five facilities in the country. No per-facility capacity was disclosed. The launch was attributed to Alibaba's previously announced RM223bn (US$53bn) AI and cloud infrastructure programme.
