The lack of standardisation of interfaces between spacecraft is slowing down the development of the in-orbit service market. We are developing an adaptable non-standard docking interface, the shape of which can be reconfigured at will to suit the target connector, freeing the orbital services market from the constraint of having to converge on a standard in order to take off. This interface is made up of thousands of Ø4 mm electrostatic micro-bots designed to carry energy and data.
