At Autumn we create the technology for dentists to succeed in an AI native world. We deploy agentic systems into dental practices to deliver better patient outcomes, help dentists get paid, and help small business owners run their business. Right now we are focused on automating revenue cycle management for dentists. Over the next decade, we believe the entire dental practice will collapse around the dentist (a $100B+ opportunity), and Autumn will run it.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Own engineering end to end (product, design, and code), working directly with the founders.
Build our core systems from scratch and set the company's technical direction.
Sit on-site with dentists and their staff, find the bottlenecks that cost them labor or hurt patient experience, and turn that into a spec.
Ship agentic workflows that automate dental billing, claims, and payment posting.
Decide when to take on technical debt and when to pay it down, based on what the business needs.
Direct LLMs aggressively to ship high-quality code fast, without shipping AI slop.

WHAT YOU BRING

A track record of owning and shaping projects end to end.
Experience building entire codebases from scratch with 1 to 5 people, more than once.
Strong CS fundamentals and systems judgment. You break problems down, know what right and wrong look like, and make tradeoff calls on the fly.
Product instinct. You turn messy customer feedback into what to build.
Comfort talking with non-technical customers.
Heavy use of AI tools. You hit your Claude Code limits regularly.
Resilience. You can spend weeks building something, scrap it when it turns out to be the wrong direction, and move on without taking it personally.
