Operated by Microsoft · Sandnes, Rogaland, NO2 srcupdated 5d ago
Microsoft revealed plans at the end of June 2026 for a 25 MW data center in Sandnes municipality, in the Stavanger region, on a plot registered at the end of June for NOK 153.6m and already zoned for industrial and data centre use. The facility would supplement the existing Norway East cloud region; no construction timeline was given. Sources disagree on plot size (reported both as 64 acres and as 64 maal, i.e. about 6.4 hectares).
