Robot #IMU Driver publishes at X or Y kHz. How consistent are the intervals between samples? Is it #Deterministic? A good place to start before tuning your next integration. Introducing the #IMU #Data #Analysis #Lab by Olive Robotics —a browser-based workspace for taking a closer look at inertial sensor recordings. Open a CSV, #MCAP or #ROS bag and investigate:
- Timing: effective sample rate, jitter, timestamp gaps and clock drift.
- Noise: per-axis statistics, stationary bias and cross-axis correlation.
- Vibration: Welch power spectral density, dominant frequencies and spectrograms.
- Stability: overlapping Allan deviation, with random-walk and bias-instability estimates.
- Temperature: warm-up behavior and observed bias dependence.
Export the findings as an engineering report to share with your team. The interpretation matters as much as the plots. #Robot motion isn’t stationary sensor noise. A timestamp gap isn’t necessarily packet loss. And absolute accuracy needs a synchronized ground-truth reference. No installation. No account. Raw recordings stay on your machine. Built to make the journey from “something looks wrong” to “here’s what the data shows” a little shorter. Try your own recording, or explore the included examples.
